I was working downtown when this place open and nearly 20 years ago. They've moved around the corner, but still the best deal for salad bar and smoothies near Pioneer Square. And the salad bar with everything you could want, $7.50/#. Amazing build your own smoothie "matrix", or choose from A list of combinations that have been concocted over the years by customers like you. My favorite is the Tony, a peanut butter chocolate banana frozen yogurt smoothie- with a shot of espresso! You can also get fresh juice combos. Same owners for 20 years who you can find working behind the bar, very nice folks. You can even bring your own salad bowl/ container!

Build your own salad bar. Little over-priced in my opinion. Topping options seemed to be slim, but that might have been the result of coming in after the 12'clock rush.
Not awful. -

I've been to a few smoothie places around here and so far I think this place makes the best smoothie with chocolate, coffee, peanut butter, and banana. It tastes so good, I just wish there were bigger sizes instead of one! It's not the healthiest because the chocolate syrup is Hershey's, but it is so addicting!
The workers at this place are all very friendly as well and it seems like some kind of mom and pop shop. I've never had any of their salad, but I've had their soup. I really liked their split pea soup. I'd never had it before then, but it tasted very natural and had a lot of the ingredients listed on the board. -

Good little smoothie joint. They have a variety of flavors, and you can add additional fruit at no cost! AMAZING! We ordered an açaí Bowl with peanut butter and a peach mango smoothie with added protein and strawberries. Yummy

Cocoa Banana is a great little spot I wish I would've discovered sooner! I think working in Pioneer Square is so difficult because most of the restaurants are so expensive, but this place is super reasonable.
I went around 12:45 and there was a handful of other people, but I didn't have to wait to order. The salad bar was a running a little low, but it had what I wanted. I made myself a small salad and got the Tony smoothie (banana, chocolate, espresso, peanut butter, and non fat frozen yogurt). It was so tasty! They were quick to ring me and to make my smoothie, which is so nice because I'm always looking for quick stops for lunch. They've got a lot of other smoothies and juices and I can't wait to come back to try them!
Looks like you can also bring in your own container for salad and get a discount. Initially I thought tupperware, but they had pictures of people in there who brought great big bowls- how fun! Their cups and utensils are compostable.
